Freezer Meat
Our livestock is pasture raised with plentiful access to grasses and forbs during the growing season. Lambs are raised almost entirely on a forage based diet and only occasionally receive grain. As pasture growth wanes with the changing seasons, our cattle receive hay and a small amount of high quality grain, using a mixture we make on the farm. All of our animals are treated humanely, worked and handled with respect, are growth hormone free, and only given antibiotics for life saving reasons.
Purchasing local meat directly from our farm:
Guarantees a constant supply of quality meat, at the convenience of your freezer.
Buying in bulk saves money vs. constantly buying at the grocery store.
Knowing exactly where and how your lamb or beef was raised.
HOW TO ORDER
Freezer meat (lamb or beef) is charged by the hanging weight and a separate processing fee. Each animal is different, so the take home weights provided below are average estimates. Your final total packaged weight and price will depend on the animal and cuts selected. Prices vary based on market rates.
Deposits are only refundable if our farm is unable to fulfill your order. Deposits can be made via cash, check, or Venmo (@hoofandcloverfarm).
If you decide to use Venmo for payment, please note that Venmo applies a 1.9% transaction fee to all business transactions. To ensure full transparency, this fee will be added to your total if you choose Venmo as your payment method. We are happy to offer alternative payment methods, such as cash or check, to avoid additional fees.
Please contact Josh or Jen if you have any questions. Thank you for supporting local farming!
